深みのある赤紫色をした、矢尻のようなフォルムのアフガニスタン産アンティーク・ガーネットビーズ
古くから良質なガーネットの産地であり、シルクロード交易の要所でもあったこの土地ではかつて様々な装飾品が人々を彩ってきました。
盾や矢を象徴する逆三角形のフォルムには「大地と繋がり、持ち主の身を安定させて守る」という意味が込められており、角の取れた柔らかな質感からもかつての人々がお守りのように大切に身に付けていた歴史が愛おしく想像できます。
このガーネットを引き立てるストライプ模様のパーツにはインドのオールドシルバーを、その他のシルバーパーツにはカレンシルバーをあしらい、留め具には深いブラウンカラーが魅力的なブロンザイトを、、 全体のトーンをシックにまとめています。
すっきりとしたフォルムでありながら、長い時を経た味わい深いアンティークガーネットが、装いに奥行きのある美しさを印象づけます。
